Readers, here are the selections for June: two from high altitude roasters (Truckee, California) and two from roasters closer to sea level (San Francisco). As would be expected, but you still need to check, shipping is available from all four. That said, if you’re ever on the North Shore (of Lake Tahoe), and in particular in or near Truckee, it will be incumbent upon you to check out both Pacific Crest and Drink Coffee – Do Stuff. Liminal is available at the San Mateo Farmers’ Market on Saturdays, and Philz is available (seemingly everywhere). To my defense, the Philz and Liminal bags are still unopened; like most things, coffee is best experienced in moderation, even and perhaps especially during unusual and turbulent times such as these.
